Fun and Functional Ceramics class by Kat Cook

Fun & Functional Ceramics with Kat Cook

This popular ceramics workshop led by instructor Kat Cook is open to both beginners and advanced students, making it a great choice whether you’re picking up clay for the first time or looking for a creative new project.

Kat will lead the class in making a beautiful, functional piece of ceramic art of her choice.  Each month she will choose a new project, so you can always look forward to attending her workshop. Once your piece is created, you will glaze it yourself before it goes to the kiln.

Your finished piece will be ready for pickup in the ADSO Fort Walton Beach gallery approximately one week after firing, a satisfying, start-to-finish ceramics experience in a single session.

Clay With a Purpose with Marcy Eady

Clay With a Purpose is a monthly hand building ceramics class led by instructor Marcy Eady, held on the fourth Saturday of each month. Each session brings students together to create the same sculptural subject, making it a fun, community-driven experience where you can see how every artist puts their own spin on the same piece.

All materials are provided, including clay, glazes, and tools, so you can walk in ready to create. Whether you’re a beginner unlocking your creative potential for the first time or an experienced clay artist looking to push your craft in a new direction, this class offers something meaningful for every skill level. Your finished, glazed piece will be fired and ready for pickup in about a week.
