Painting Techniques
with Vincent Zingaretti
Painting Techniques with Vincent Zingaretti is an ongoing weekly class that gives students the freedom to explore and develop their own individual painting style under the guidance of an experienced instructor. Vincent teaches a range of techniques across multiple mediums, including oils, soft pastels, and acrylics, so students can work in the medium that speaks to them while learning from both the instructor and each other.
This class is open to all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned painters looking to expand their skills. Each student works at their own pace on their own subject matter, making every session a truly personalized learning experience. Students should bring their own art supplies and a photo of what they would like to paint.
Life Drawing and Life Painting
Life Drawing and Life Painting is an open session for artists who want to sharpen their observational drawing and painting skills by working from a live model. This is an unstructured, self-directed session with no instructor, giving artists the freedom to work in any drawing or painting media they choose.
Each session features numerous short and long poses, with the longest pose running 25 minutes, giving you the opportunity to work quickly and loosely or build up a more developed study. This format is ideal for artists who want to practice figure drawing, improve their understanding of the human form, or simply maintain a regular drawing practice in Fort Walton Beach. Please note that photography is not permitted during sessions.
Attendance is limited, so signing up in advance is encouraged.
Sip & Paint
Sip & Paint is a relaxed, social painting experience led by instructor Pat Roberts, perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy a fun evening of creativity in Fort Walton Beach. Whether you are a complete beginner, an intermediate painter, or an experienced artist, this class is designed to be enjoyable and accessible for everyone.
Each session guides students through a painting in acrylics, with subjects ranging from landscapes and nature scenes to local imagery and more. All supplies are included, so you just need to show up ready to paint. Students are welcome to bring a beverage of their choice to enjoy while they learn and create. It is a great option for a night out, a group activity, or simply a creative way to unwind.
