The thickness of the paint is important in watercolors; it has an influence on the color intensity and it also creates different effects. This class focuses on the water/paint ratio.
Our monthly watercolor classes provide a great opportunity to brush up on watercolor skills and to explore new styles and techniques.

Supplies:
Bring watercolor paper, 11×14 (preferably cotton paper), professional-grade paints in tubes (Please do not use non-professional paints for kids, they don’t work the same way.), a variety of brushes; flat, round, calligraphy, liners, etc., non-porous waterproof board to hold the paper (e.g. Plexiglas), paper towels or soft cloth, water container; palette, pencil, and masking tape.
We will be working with ultramarine blue and oxide red. (Or any blue and orange or red). The color choice is up to you and you may use other color combination if you prefer!
